My client is a large organisation based in central London who are looking for an Senior Accountant with 5+ Years experience and 3+ years experience working on Sage 200 or SAP software Italian speaking is very desirable however not a deal breaker. Additionally, Spanish and French speaking would also be hugely beneficial but not essential Urgent requirement to have a handover with a member of staff who is leaving in Feb 2022 The role will be Reporting to:Management AccountantDuties and ResponsibilitiesPurchase ledger:Manage the invoice process verifying authorisation, resolving discrepancies, setting up paymentsReconcile purchase ledgers, run creditor reportsSales ledger:Raise sales invoices and credit notesReconcile sales ledger, run debtor reportsMonitor and post debtor paymentsRaise intercompany invoicesGeneral ledger: Enter monthly journals, accruals, pre-payments and provisionsFixed assets: Manage the fixed assets registerCashbook: Multi-currency monthly bank reconciliation & petty cashIntercompany: Reconcile intercompany accounts, manage intercompany recharges and settlement of balancesSalaries: Post payroll transactions, reconcile monthly contributions, company healthcare and pension schemesManagement Accounts: assist preparation of internal monthly financial statements and analysis reportsTaxes: assist quarterly returns Knowledge & ExperienceAccountant with 5 to 10 years experience.SAP and / or Sage userVery good command of Excel.
