You will be accountable for the planning, design, creation, change, verification, testing, support and documentation of new and amended SharePoint and other M365 software components in order to deliver agreed value to stakeholdersClient DetailsA global organisation.DescriptionTechnical Lead - SharepointKey Responsibilities:You will be accountable for the planning, design, creation, change, verification, testing, support and documentation of new and amended SharePoint and other M365 software components in order to deliver agreed value to stakeholderYou will be accountable for the identification, creation and application of agreed SharePoint and other software development and security standards and processesYou will be accountable for adopting and adapting software development life-cycle models based on the context of the work and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approachesResponsible for advancing new methods and organisational capabilities for software development / programming, and drives adoption of, and adherence to policies and standardsResponsible, with others as necessary, for the recruitment, training and development of software development staffResponsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress of development projects, ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architectures, standards, methods and procedures (including secure software development)Responsible for creating road maps to communicate future development activity including migrating on premise SharePoint to M365 SharePoint onlineResponsible for external website hosting managed service provider & outsourced development work, inc. SoWs, vendor mgmt. etcConsults on systems development projects which support the organisation's objectives and plans and liaises with senior management so it is both aware of and able to provide the required resources for supported initiativesConsults on availability and optimum utilisation of development and related resources, including those which may be outsourcedProfileTechnical Lead - SharepointThe Successful Candidate:Programming/Software Development in Microsoft 365 (M365)Strong SharePoint experienceExperience in Application Development Methods, Techniques and StandardsSystems Development Management - 1 direct reportExperience in Application Systems and Development ToolsExperience in direct management or mentoring Job OfferTechnical Lead - SharepointBenefits:Competitive SalaryPension30% BonusHybrid Working Facilities
