Sky is looking for a highly motivated and hardworking Head of Product to own our News Experience and Common Capability products and be responsible for developing a coherent product vision, aligning all markets on a common global product and ensuring we drive customer engagement with our world class product set. You will bring our North Star of "The Habitual home of engaged news consumers in Sky territories and beyond" to life." - Stephen Featham, Group Director of Product Management

What you'll do:

* Build, coach and lead a team of four Group Product Managers and further coach product managers who in-turn, lead empowered multi-functional teams, defining the News product strategy, removing complexity and executing innovative product ideas. You will build a product team obsessed with great experiences. * You'll act as a coach to other senior members of the product team and take an active role in developing the ways of working across the Product Hub. * You will be recognised as the specialist in News digital experiences and you will evangelise the News product vision and your product strategy throughout the organisation. * Carefully lead demanding partners as we pivot from a roadmap/feature driven organisation to a prioritisation/outcome driven organisation with a focus on dedicated prioritisation. * Work closely with Product Hub peers across design, development and delivery to identify and solve complex problems to deliver key business outcomes. * Accountable for all aspects of how Sky Sports News manifests and is experienced by our customers on our own and operated products. * Rationalise the existing sports products set to focus on fewer, better products in Sky territories and across the globe.

What you'll bring:

* A highly visible, forward-thinking people leader. You will be credible in gaining trust and building relationships with partners at all levels with ability to influence, empower, guide and lead groups. * Demonstrable experience of defining and delivering complex digital products across multiple territories. Leading product management teams to deliver and run a portfolio of sophisticated digital advertising products. * Passionate about connecting partners and customers with the right information at the right time. Instilling a proactive, forward-thinking, innovative standard of excellence. * Proven experience and desire to deliver with ability to be flexible and bring calmness in a fast-paced, changing environment. Will look to maintain focus on product vision whilst moving at pace and not compromising quality. * Foster data-driven environments with strong qualitative and quantitative skills and a validated ability to use insight and data to inform decision-making and build strong forward-looking business cases.

Leeds:

Our spacious tech hub is under a mile away from Leeds train station, with free water taxis available from Granary Wharf. There's also plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby Citi Park.
