Do you have experience in managing Renewable Energy projects and want to join a rapidly expanding business with a number of significant large-scale contracts coming up over the next few years?

This company specialises in the delivery of Renewable Energy and Energy Management projects for major commercial and industrial clients across the UK. In line with them securing a number of new contracts, including for the exclusive selling of cutting-edge AI powered smart meters, they are looking for a Project Manager who can take full responsibility for overseeing projects until handover.

In this role you will be responsible for managing individual Renewable Energy projects such as for the delivery of ground-mounted and roof-mounted Solar PV. This will involve duties such as ensuring sites meet internal standards, external regulations and contractual requirements. In addition to this you will be responsible for organising internal and subcontractor labour, reporting progress to stakeholders and providing support during the handover and commissioning phases.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in managing Renewable Energy projects such as for Solar PV, EV or Battery Storage. They will also hold a SMSTS qualification and will be competent in the hands-on delivery of projects such as by carrying out RAMS, monitoring QHSE compliance etc.

The Role:

* Managing Renewable Energy projects from pre-construction to handover

* Overseeing project startup activities such as by ensuring permits and licenses are in place

* Monitoring and reporting on project progress against contractual time and budget requirements

* Ensuring HSE regulations are adhered to

* Delivering daily meetings and toolbox talks while overseeing internal & subcontractor workforces

* Engaging in selection of external contractors/suppliers including performance and quality reviews

The Person:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in project management for Renewable Energy projects

* Ability to read and comprehend electrical designs

* SMSTS qualified

* Competent in RAMS and work permits

* Strong understanding of H&S regulations

* Full UK driving license
