Software Engineer *6 month contract £600 p/day outside IR35*

Software Engineer / Developer (Elm JavaScript) *6 month contract £600 p/day outside IR35*. Global travel eCommerce giant is seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong knowledge of Elm / functional programming for a six month contract.

As a Software Engineer you will be instrumental in completing a new, real-time travel agent booking platform; you'll build new features and enhancement and collaborate with the wider team to upskill them on the use of Elm.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home the majority of the time with occasional team meet-ups in the Kingston (Surrey / SW London) office - there's also potential to be fully remote.

Requirements:

You have strong Elm development / functional programming skills (will also consider Haskell or Clojure)

You have experience of working on large, complex web applications using JavaScript / TypeScript

You have experience with automated testing and CI/CD (e.g. TeamCity, Jenkins, Go-CD, Octopus Deploy)

You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
