A leading supplier of ASIC's to the automotive industry is looking for an EMC Development Engineer with a strong back ground in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design to join a design team in the development of automotive ASIC's for smart power product and related. In your role EMC Development Engineer you have the following responsibilities:
You will coordinate and develop EMC-compliant ASICs with a focus on SMART POWER applications such as ABS, ESP, airbag, gate drivers and power supply ICs, as well as new ASIC concepts and processes from the point of view of EMC (electromagnetic compatibility).You are responsible for the EMC laboratory and drive the automation of the measurement method.You will oversee and carry out EMC board designs and layouts for the various projectsYou analyse the EMC requirements on the basis of valid standards and expected future developments. You will develop suitable EMC concepts, manage the associated approval processes and coordinate the EMC verification activities.You continuously follow the ASIC development from the requirements phase through laboratory commissioning to ASIC approval.You agree the metrological specifications with the experts and customers for ASIC design and ASIC modules and implement them.You define, coordinate and carry out EMC tests and simulations during development.Qualifications
Completed university degree (Bachelor / Diploma / PhD) in electrical engineering, microelectronics, engineering, physics or a comparable course of studyWork experience in microelectronics / ASIC development (Analog Mixed Signal IC Design) with a focus on EMC or work experience in hardware development and control device development with the use of semiconductor components with a focus on EMC; Sound knowledge in the field of electromagnetic compatibility, in the field of hardware circuit development as well as in layout creation and measurement technology;Sound experience in dealing with modern design environments under LINUX, UNIX andWindowsTool knowledge is an advantage: Cadence, SPICE Matlab & Simulink Altium designer RSUS, BAT-EMFor more information and to apply, please click APPLY NOW to be contacted by a member of the ICR team.
