Due to this they now require an additional Applications Specialist to join the team.In this role you act as a technical point of contact and expert for customer. The role will involve providing remote support and training to customers on various cutting edge equipment. There will be a requirement to travel (Covid dependent) to Europe and potentially further afield. You might be traveling a couple of times a month but usually just for a day or two at a time.This is a fantastic chance to join a company that can offer you technically interesting work, while you progress your knowledge through structured training.The Role:

*Provide pre and post sale technical support to customers

*Travel to customer sites in Europe

*Remote and onsite training

The Person:

*Physics or similar MSc or PhD graduate

*Or experience using complex machinery in a lab or manufacturing environment

*Good communication and happy to be customer facing

*Happy to travel as required
