CAD Engineer (Mechanical)

Approaching their 50th Anniversary, this manufacturer are leaders in their specialist industry and work on very interesting projects. They have built a renowned reputation for delivering excellence and are seeking an additional CAD Engineer to join their expanding team.

In this role, you'll be working on projects from concept briefs through to completion on the shop floor. You'll be compiling site layout drawings and manufacturing drawings in accordance to clients needs. You'll receive on-the-job training in their niche industry from experts in the field to equip you with the knowledge needed.

Initially you'll be required to work in their offices and manufacturing floor to receive your training. After the probation period, this will move to a 50/50 hybrid working pattern.

The Role:

*CAD Design of industrial products

*Site layout drawings

*Using AutoCAD 2D

*Industry training

*Seeing products being manufactured on the shop floor

*Hybrid working option after probation period

The Person:

*Min 1 years industry experience in a CAD/Design role

*Mechanical Engineering Educated

*Proficient with AutoCAD

*SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage
