Reputable and leading partner lead consultancy seeking an Actuarial Analyst/Senior Actuarial Checker to join their office in Glasgow or Edinburgh | Actuarial exams/studier not required | £30,000-£40,000 + bonus.Company client is currently working with a reputable and leading partner lead consultancy seeking an Actuarial Analyst/Senior Actuarial Checker to join their office in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Actuarial exams/studier not required.
This person will be responsible for checking process-based and more bespoke liability valuation work and contributing to improving the efficiency of these processes. Typical work will include actuarial valuation calculations, funding updates, transfer values and accounting disclosures.
Role requirements:
* Degree Qualified
* Proven defined benefit actuarial analyst experience
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar package (eg VBA)
This role would be ideal for candidates who might be looking to stop sitting the IFoA exams and/or move away from a consulting role. Whilst IFoA exams are not required, this team can still offer a wealth of progression both internally and also laterally across the business.
