You will be the inspirational direct and indirect leader of a team of solutions architects, design engineers and subject matter experts. Delivering engineering strategy, master design principles, platform design, research and development, vendor Integration, Testing and Support delivering platforms and projects for Sky stakeholders such as Sky Sports, Sky News.

This mission-critical role will develop Production Technology Architecture, strategy, design, implementation and direction across our Group Production platforms, offering significant scope for an individual to make their name and make a difference at Group scale!

What you'll do:

* Be responsible for end-to-end production technology Design, strategy, and implementation. Vendor roadmap management, Master design principles, technical standards, TDA. Technology Evaluation, CAPEX planning, HL Program delivery. * Your team will own a clear and validated technical roadmap with our customers and stakeholders, ensuring that our directions align, and our technology is appropriate. In addition, you will own key stakeholder relationships within the business and define our measurements of success. * You will also work directly and indirectly with the production engineering and design teams across the UK/DE and IT, building high performing physical and virtual groups that define, design, develop, test and validate Production technology. * Collaborate with the cross-functional teams within CBP to define an ongoing 5-year Technology strategy aligned with group production platform principles, customer strategy and LRP. * You will continuously define and evolve Production review industry trends and work with vendors to ensure C, B & P always collaborate with Sky stakeholders to provide industry-leading solutions and platform features. * Form and maintain a Group Production Technology council, whose goal is to align on our technology platform, methodology and standards and maximise the effectiveness of our Group Production technology function, driving operational efficacy and supplier engagement.

What you'll bring:

* Deep and demonstratable knowledge within end-to-end production Technology architecture. * You will be recognised as an expert in your field, demonstrating senior experience and leadership within Production technology Design and implementation programs. * Experience leading, Architects, Designers, Engineering, and implementation teams. * Exceptional leadership skills, boundless optimism, unwillingness to tolerate mediocrity, and passion for building a world-beating team. * Commercial acumen, showing influencing factors within financial investments, procurement, and contractual negotiation. * Proven experience in transforming Production technology infrastructure. * Cultural fluency, able to engage people from a range of backgrounds. Showing the ability to negotiate with & persuade others, often at more senior levels to adopt different points of view. * You will be able to demonstrate conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions and strategy. * Experience in Leading programmes with considerable risk & complexity.
