A Lead Optical Engineer is sought by our client in Boston, MA. The Lead Optical Engineer will join a leader in fibre optic communication systems and photonic components. The role will lead the development of new optical components and selecting novel system architectures for high speed data transfer through optical fibres. You will take the design through from capturing requirements and prototyping all the way to volume manufacture. The key skills of the Lead Optical Engineer will include: PhD in Photonics / OpticsVPI for full optical system simulation
PICs / Optical Multiplexing
System and sub-system level experience designing fibre optic systems for telecommunications The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Fibre Optic System Architecture and with leading a design team focusing on fibre optic telecommunication systems.
