We are looking for a Service Governance Manager who will be responsible for managing any type of change (project related and/or operational change) that will affect or has the potential to affect live services. The role is accountable for ensuring effective control and mitigation of risk to the security, availability, performance, and impact on the business and more importantly maintaining our services to staff and students for the University Group. The role will define the change management framework and practices within Digital Services and undertake assurance reviews to ensure adherence to these practices. Working with the Service Assurance Manager this role will provide recommendations and actions to Operational Team Managers where Services are not meeting defined Service Levels. The Service Governance Manager is responsible for undertaking reviews of the Digital Service Catalogue to verify the information is accurate and up-to-date, leading remediation actions where required

Key Skills & Experience:

Have a bachelor's degree or have demonstrated business experience as a viable alternative.

Level 3 qualification in the service management framework, as well as awareness of ITIL's lifecycle and competency elements.

Service Transition ITIL Intermediate Lifecycle Module

Proven ability to deliver successful change management in both operational and project/program settings.

Demonstrated knowledge of new technologies and their support concerns

Knowledge of how to provide management data and information on digital services and systems

Has extensive industry expertise in change management and can successfully implement a change management approach from start to finish.
