Senior Data Engineer - Up to 80KRoles and resposnibilities Use data from internal & external sources to provide the company an edgeMaintain and develop new and existing solutions to maximise the utility of data within the businessHands-on end to end understanding of requirements and delivery of reports, dashboards and data feedsUnderstand and document new and existing data requirements and translating these into high-level database designs and then implementing.Take Initiative to improve data quality. Stakeholder management.Work with the development team for project delivery, review T-SQL code and provide practice guidance. Process large data sets Additional / ad hoc duties Technical Experience SQL 2012-2019 Azure SQL Database SSIS, SSRS, SSASAzure Data Factory Analysis Services TabularPower BIDaxEssential Skills & Experience:Proactive and take initiative to lead . be able to multitask and work on various projects simultaneously. Strong T-SQL skills. Understanding of data flows Strong analytical skills - ]engaging with the business, stakeholders and end-users. Able to independently test and validate reporting solution outputs. Communicating and discussing complex technical issues clearly. Good understanding of Data warehouse modelling terminology & techniques.Power BI reports design and authoring.
