This is an opportunity for a Lead Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join a leading company working on low power networking ICs which will involve communication systems, analog and digital expertise. Based in their Research and Design centre in Cork, you will be Analog, Digital and Communications areas. The Automotive Information Systems (AIS) BU of Microchip has a broad portfolio of automotive networking products and has been a leader in the automotive space for more than 20 years.  You will be involved in supporting mentoring younger engineers, product architecture definition and feature discussions, system level algorithm development and translating market requirements to design specifications with detail feasibility analysis. The successful Analog IC Design Engineer will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Analog CMOS/BiCMOS IC design and is familiar with Verilog A and its modelling as well as Cadence EDA. A masters of PHD is preferred. Experience in some or all of the following are required:
Experience in developing project plans and ensuring the successful executions of projects while meeting schedule, cost, and performance requirements.Experience in CMOS/BiCMOS analog circuit design with sub-micron processes.Design Experience in CDR, frequency synthesizer, DLL, Hi-speed driver, Serdes.Analog/mixed-signal IC development cycles including design, simulation & validation.You will have excellent communication skills in English, highly energetic, a self-starter with resourceful thinking skills and be willing to work in an environment that allows initiative and requires flexibility.
