Procurement Officer/Associate Role

Working from Home available Experis are currently recruitment for a Procurement Officer/Associate to work primarily on the end-to-end delivery of corporate services sourcing and procurement activities for a large public sector client. They have an extensive pipeline of sourcing/procurement requirements across corporate service categories over the coming months, the successful contractor is required to supplement the existing Corporate Services Team. This role is part of a team which is pivotal to maintaining a resilient supply chain through the sourcing of goods and services.

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience of delivering end to end procurement activities in a commercially focused public sector environmentExperience of delivering end to end procurement projects and activities that have achieved value for money and savingsDemonstrable experience of driving value from procurement opportunitiesDemonstrable level of problem-solving procurement specific challengesDemonstrable level of negotiation and dispute resolution skill setProven ability to use direct and indirect influencing strategies at an operational levelKnowledge and experience of delivering procurement/sourcing in accordance with the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016 or Public Contract Regulations 2015Experienced with agile cross-functional collaborative working methodsStrong customer focus and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work flexibly, in a fast-paced environment across a range of sourcing activitiesProcurement Officer/Associate Role Desirable Requirements:Previous experience of indirect and/or corporate services procurementPrevious experience of delivering sustainable procurement, including social value
