This is a crucial role in the RegTech & Advanced Analytics department within the Innovation division; a recently formed function at the FCA, leading the development of a technology and analytics-led regulatory approach. As a team with innovation at our core, we are revolutionising the way we communicate with our colleagues. We want to use and develop our platform of exciting Analytics Community initiatives to nurture organisational curiosity and excitement around data & analytics and, encourage innovation through game-changing comms campaigns. We're looking for a communication and engagement focused change manager to act as the bridge between data & analytics, our community members and the wider organisation. Someone that will develop and expand an active, engaged and inspired community across all our internal communications channels. You will run our existing initiatives that empower colleagues to be curious, collaborate and learn about all things data, analytics and technology, and continuously improve our existing initiatives and develop new ones to expand our reach throughout the organisation.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in developing community engagement strategies, delivering increased engagement rates and a shift in positive sentiment through fresh, interesting and innovative community content. What does the role involve? What are the key responsibilities?   You will be responsible for the strategy, creation, distribution and measurement of brilliant content that gets us noticed You will care deeply about and be dedicated to listening and understanding our colleagues so you can create content that delights them You will build process and measurement into everything you do and analyse and draw insights from information we capture, to understand if the content you produce / commission is driving awareness, engagement and sign ups You will use your experience to write great content, blogs and articles. You will also seize opportunities to harness the power of channels like podcasts and video to reach new audiences and invite them to engage and sign-up to the analytics community You understand what it takes to make good written, visual and video content, and even if you are not experienced at video editing, designing or creating it yourself, you know how to commission good content from other content creators in an engaging and effective way You will keep a pulse on where we are in our data journey - as organisation and at a local level - and apply your storytelling skills and judgement of what types of content engages and excites, to turn observers into community members and advocates You're an effective manager of events who will experience organising and facilitating interesting and engaging events both virtually and in person Skills/Experience Required   Minimum  We're a signatory to the Government's Disability Confident scheme. Exceptions may apply if due to the volume of applications we are not able to interview all eligible candidates who qualify under the scheme Evidence of working pro-actively and independently to scope and deliver work Proven experience scoping, developing and managing comms and engagement initiatives within an organisation, with expertise in launching community initiatives and ability to identify and track relevant community metrics Experience in engaging and nurturing communities both in a remote working and face to face environments Strong communicator (written and verbal) with the power to engage, motivate and influence a diverse range people at all levels Understands content strategy and how to identify, create, disseminate and measure content that drives engagement and can be scaled Essential An eye for good design with experience developing visually appealing content across different formats and channels for different audiences Experience in running and facilitating face-to-face and online events such as panel discussions and debates etc Good data and information analysis skills, with an ability to capture, interpret and draw insights from feedback and engagement metrics An excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels Intranet Management, which will includes owning overall content maintenance Excellent attention to detail and rigour in producing work to tight deadlines Entrepreneurial, with a collaborative approach. You bring fresh, exciting ideas for community campaigns or new content/community initiatives, with the intent to grow membership Desirable Knowledge of financial services or regulation Experience of working in an agile delivery environment, where change is delivered iteratively, and products and initiatives are adapted along the project lifecycle A level of flexible / hybrid working will be a feature of the role (a combination of working from the office work and working remotely) About the FCA   At the FCA, we're creating a fair and more resilient financial system.
