You will be the inspirational lead of the Production innovation program, This Project aims to disrupt the traditional concepts of live content production, building out highly flexible and scalable production technology platforms in public and private cloud environments.

You will be leading teams of technical specialists, architects, designers, analysts and operators, you will translate stakeholder requirements into a product "backlog" and then deliver functional capabilities into this continually evolving group platform.

What you'll do:

* Define the roadmap and prioritization of our platform, working closely with production partners in Sky Sports and Sky news. * Manage cross-functional teams, specifically focused on the design, development and delivery of cloud Production Technology solutions. Across the UK, Italy and Germany. * Own the Product Backlog, delivery plan and operational budget. * Challenge Production Operational Norms, searching for efficient and reliable technical solutions that aim to enhance the customer experience. * Develop a maintain a "rate card" based consumption model for production teams to offer predictable and cost-efficient services and solutions. * Build a strong innovation culture, which supports great ideas and develops great people whist supporting Sky's corporate goals of environmental sustainability, diversity and inclusion.

What you'll bring:

* Senior Project/Program Management Experience working within large Broadcast or Media Environments. * You will be Fluent in Agile Project management methodologies, and their application within platform development environments * Exceptional leadership skills and boundless optimism, unwillingness to tolerate mediocrity and passion about building a world-beating platform * Demonstratable experience in live Production Technology and its application with Live Sports and News. * Proven experience in transforming technical platforms and methodology, * You will be Fluent in Vendor Management, contract negotiation and cost forecasting * Demonstrable experience in working with Live Production content teams, and a focused understanding of their requirements and their measurements of success.
