BI Business Analyst (BIBA)We are looking for a BIBA, to gather, analyse and document Business data, reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions in partnership with the BI Architect and technical teams.-CPT | 100% Remote | Competitive Wage Package + Benefits | Financial Sector - Key Responsibilities: Responsible for gathering and documenting the reporting requirements for the respective business areasInvestigate data sources and query the data using SQLDocument Functional Requirements to the source systemDocument Source to Target mapping for new solutionsDevelop conceptual BI solution designDevelop functional designs and provide recommendations on the presentation of informationTrain and support users /Create test cases and plans/ Create test cases and plansFunctional testing (ensure that solutions meet the requirements and needs of the business)Manage data test process, including unit, system integration, functional and user acceptance testingEffective internal and external stakeholder relationship managementKeep abreast of the latest market developments with regards to Data tools and methodologies Key Competencies: Strong communication skills & facilitation skillsAttention to detail & Ability to collaborate with developers and business usersAnalytically abilitySolution orientated with ability to resolve complex Data challengesAbility to prioritise and manage multiple deliverablesData and business literacy Qualifications and Experience: 3-year Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or related fields - essentialData analysis experienceExperience in working with data visualisation tools with Cognos or PowerBI for Proof of ConceptsProficient in SQL for data analysis - essentialKnowledge of Dimensional Modelling/Data WarehousingMS OfficeExperience in Financial Services or Retail advantageous -If this role sounds like your next career step please don't hesitate-Matthew De Castro Silva[email protected]
