POSITION SUMMARY As a Principal Consultant, you lead complex engagements and/or architect complex solutions for clients. You use your well-established network and experience to add to the Planit brand. You have a proven track record with client delivery, business development and account growth by creating effective client-focussed solutions. These solutions enhance the portfolio of services delivered to clients, which increases client satisfaction and retention, leading to new commercial opportunities. You influence program delivery, ensuring quality and testing are at the forefront of the client's lifecycle. You are an intrinsic part of the operational management of your Planit region, mentoring other Planit employees through tailored programs of continual capability uplift. You contribute to or are responsible for creating, owning and delivering bespoke complex client bids at and above C level within global organisations. You will be able to consult across all areas of the Planit Service portfolio. You are engaged, driven, collaborative, reliable and are regarded as a knowledgeable leader within the industry. As a thought leader, you contribute to Planit's global Practices by leading the development of assets and frameworks that accelerate client delivery. You are active within the industry at a national or global level and regularly showcase Planit's capabilities via presentations or articles. Perform in your role Delivery: You deliver quality solutions in highly complex environments, across multiple clients. You operate well in any situation you are exposed to, focusing on short-term, high-impact engagements. Expertise: You are a thought leader. You can consult at C-level and continually add value through your expertise in one or more Planit practices. Standards: You follow Planit, client or international standards for testing, quality and delivery. Metrics/Reporting: You lead metrics collection to KPIs, SLAs and engagement goals, raising potential scope, schedule or budget issues with your client and Planit. You report progress regularly at an enterprise level against client requirements and contracts to clients and Planit. Tooling: You are experienced in a range of tools to suit your role (e.g. requirement, test, defect management, automaton, CI/CD and/or non-functional testing tools). You recommend tools to satisfy client objectives (with support from tool specialists as required), ensuring improvement outcomes are tracked and reported.You use tools to report progress to clients and Planit. 2. Help the business grow Customer Focus: You are a trusted advisor, held in high esteem by clients, Planit and C-levels. You expertly manage client and stakeholder expectations. You work closely with management, identifying opportunities to ensure business success for the whole group. Through your expertise, you add value to the Planit brand, creating solutions and services. You use your expertise to craft high-quality responses to tenders and proposals. 3. Practices: You proactively lead teams in the delivery of new assets, training materials and frameworks within one or more Planit Practices. You share and publish your knowledge and capability freely, to the betterment of your wider organisation. Continuous Learning: You attend and deliver internal and external training courses, workshops and presentations, uplifting the capability of Planit employees. You attend and present at internal and external forums, conferences or events, expanding your network and skillset. You read and write articles and keep up to date with the industry. You assist with training course development. Flexibility: You support flexible workplace practices, including working from home, client-based on-site delivery and remote delivery, and in-house Planit office or collaborative workspaces.
