Day rate up to £680PD VIA Umbrella
Digital Payments as a Service is creating a one-stop-shop service for Global Digital Payments, allowing application groups across the business to rapidly deliver complex payment functionality within their web and mobile applications. By building on a serverless AWS platform we aim to achieve both the scalability required by a global enterprise and the agility to onboard developments in the fast-evolving world of Digital Payments.
About The Technology Stack
At a technical architecture level DPaaS is built on the AWS serverless platform wherever possible including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and SQS. At a coding level the primary language is Typescript backed with Jest testing, GIT source code control and extensive automated testing through Azure ADO CI/CD pipelines.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced developer to join the DPaaS team. The team applies a Scrum-like agile framework and modern DevSecOps practices including automated, test first development, CI/CD and serverless. A passion for and belief in these practices to deliver high quality software at pace is critical. Developers are expected to own story delivery from start-to-finish. A strong understand of software engineering techniques is critical as is the ability and willingness to be flexible to pick up any story on the board as required. The current activity is focussed on back end / micro-service development context.
