We are looking for a Senior Cyber Defence Analyst to join our amazing Information Security & Risk function here at Kingfisher's Group Technology function. With cyber security attacks on the increase and the threat landscape changing, it is important that all IT implementations are secure and monitored accordingly. The role of the Senior cyber defence analyst is to support the Cyber Defence Department and other information security functions within the Kingfisher Group and its Banners, providing technical expertise and interpreting data to figure out risks that exist, and the action required to mitigate them.

Key Accountabilities:

Delivering a high level of cyber defence capabilities across the wider business.

Ownership for the design, implementation and ongoing administration of security procedures and systems.

Responsibility for the tracking, management, and resolution of Information Security Incidents.

Driving the implementation and adoption of technical security policies.

Mentoring and helping junior Analysts for day-by-day activities.

Analyse security risks and their impact on the operating environment, recommending practical solutions that will support the Banner needs.

Ensure all IT solutions are delivered ‘Secure by Design'.

Perform supplier assurance reviews in support of legal and commercial activities.

Execute assurance reviews against Kingfisher Information Security policies and standards to ensure IT systems continue to operate securely.

Become a subject matter expert in a technology area that is critical to the future growth and strategy of Kingfisher.

What Experience are we looking for?

Hands-on security engineering experience, e.g firewall management, SIEM / IDS / IPS configuration.

Understanding of technical architecture and security aspects of infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Strong technical skills to be able to improve cyber controls.

Experience of creating and implementing technical security standards and security policies.

In depth experience of security frameworks such as ISO 27001/2, NIST.

Strong understanding of the business relevance of information security risks and the current trends and developments in information security.

Working knowledge of one or more of the following information security technologies: SIEM, Firewall, Threat Hunting, and cloud security.

Ability to work under pressure and cope with challenging demands.

Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and cross functional departments.

Desirable certifications: OSCP, CEH or CTIA.
