We are looking for an experienced data scientist to lead a team within one of the leading digital marketing agencies in Europe!With an aim to raise the performance of data-driven marketing through deep product knowledge and implementing data-driven technology, your role will be a vital part of the journey aheadYou will be collaborating closely with your team and stakeholders to suggest, design and build new data-driven and ML solutionsAs a Lead within the data science team, the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members is critical.You will be a subject matter expert within data science and ML for Senior Management, collaborate with product and development teams across the business, and be a mentor for members in your own team.We are looking for someone who can lead by example, demonstrating and implementing best practice, and take responsibility for code quality and reviewsLearning & development is a central part of the culture at all levels, knowledge sharing and collaboration is actively encouraged, and as a Lead we hope you can provide mentorship within the team, and introduce new training ideasSome of your responsibilities will include:Overseeing the data science team and related projectsDesigning and developing data science products from creation to productionProduce documentation and presentation of results for technical and non-technical audiencesEnsure that solutions are of high quality, including being able to defend those solutions to internal/external stakeholdersWe are looking for you to have:Experience within data science / machine learning in a professional settingDeep knowledge of Probability/Statistics as well as the Mathematical underpinnings behind most common ML models and less common techniques(e.g. Bayesian Analysis, Reinforcement Learning etc)SQL, Python, and Cloud Experience For any questions, contact Lucy on [email protected]
