My client is looking for outstanding visual designers to join their growing product design team in London.Job Description:My clients Design Team is growing. They are looking for a number of senior visual designers to join Their multi-disciplinary team, to work on professional financial & risk platforms, products and services across web, desktop and mobileThey shape sophisticated financial data into strategies, tools and experiences that our customers need and value. Their users demand real-time content and tools so that they can do their job efficiently. My client provides the products and services in the form of interactive visualisations, experiences and workflows, bringing everything together within a unified framework for their customers.Key responsibilitiesWork alongside a Design Principal and other members of their design squad, following lean and agile product design methodologiesBuild design material in the form of both sketched concepts to pixel-perfect designs at all stages of the product lifecycle (discovery, define and build) and demonstrate planning for activities to ensure deliveryUse and contribute to Halo, my clients Design System.Develop a deep understanding of our users, their needs, behaviours, desires, and bring that insight into the heart of all designsWork on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trendsLead significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuityDetermine work priorities based on general direction from managersProvide specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues About youDemonstrable experience in a similar role and able to show evidence of how brand affects the approach to product designPassion for a clean and purposeful designThe ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows, artefacts and ultimately into beautiful, intuitive and functional user interfaces and designsComfortable with embracing my clients Halo design system in everything you do, both using and contributing to its evolution and ideally have experience designing or defining design systemsStrong design, collaboration and communication skills with evidence of leadership as a senior designer and also able to contribute at a team level Education/QualificationsA degree in an art or visual design-related subject, or can show how you've built up your experience and skills over time 'on-the-job'Knowledge of professional financial design is a bonus, but you will be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of crafting successful user experiences that met business and user needs for complex domainsCollaboration is extremely important to my client, so they look for learning and teaching opportunities with design colleagues and their Product Management and Engineering partners. My client believes that all design disciplines should bring all their experiences, knowledge and skills to contribute across the whole design process and not be siloed within a single portion. And beyond all of that, they want everyone in the team to have fun and a shared sense of Achievement and success.Finally, my client would love to see examples of your own visual design explorations, design specs and final designs. Whilst they are interested in the final outcome, they are most interested to know how you got there and how you knew it was, or wasn't a success.
