ROLE - Helpdesk TechnicianLOCATION - Guildford
SALARY - £22,000 - £25,000
I have partnered with a leading organisation in Guildford who are upscaling their Infrastructure team and are hiring for a Helpdesk Technician on a full-time permanent basis. The Helpdesk Technician will be performing 1st line support duties for the IT Service Desk team, supporting internal users across the organisations many sites.
The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for:
Logging calls on the companies call logging systemCarrying out preliminary investigation of IT support requestsCarrying out user administrationReviewing escalated support ticketsMaintaining IT documentationsMonitoring service desk email and phone systems
The Helpdesk Technician will ideally have the following skills/experience:
Excellent communication skillsKnowledge of Windows operating systemsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)Previous experience in a customer facing roleAwareness of ITIL would be a distinct advantageExperience with Active Directory & Group Policy would be beneficial
