Manager, Information Systems & TechnologyThe Manager of Information Systems & Technology is responsible for leading the IT/IS function within the company which includes supervising IT/IS staff, managing IT/IS projects, managing IT/IS operations, supporting existing systems/applications and developing new technical solutions as required.Role and ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain information systems and software programs for the company including:Gathering and analyzing the current and future system needs/requirements by collaborating with key stakeholdersLeading the selection of new software systems and/or software modules based on the previously identified needs/requirementsLeading the subsequent implementation of the selected systems and/or software modulesManage all active IT/IS department projects which includes periodic status reportingAdminister the various Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS) as necessary including Microsoft O365, NetSuite ERP and Atlassian Jira (to name a few)Oversee contractors or consultants that provide services to the IT/IS departmentCoordinate and lead the process of performing BSS/OSS system/application upgrades as required/necessaryManage the IT/IS department budget and continually review/assess the cost effectiveness and necessity regarding all the systems/applications comprising said budgetStandardize & purchase all IT equipment related to supporting the company employeesManage the day-to-day operations of the company IT/IS service/help deskDevelop and implement IT policies and best practices guidelines for the companyEngage and oversee third-party vendors to execute independent security assessments, such as penetration testing and program assessmentsDevelop and oversee security awareness initiatives, including phishing exercises, training, and other outreachWork closely with executive leader to establish clear goals and KPI metrics for the IT/IS department. This includes facilitating and fostering internal feedback to improve the performance of the IT/IS departmentSubject Matter:Microsoft Office 365 administrationNetSuite ERP administration which includes knowledge of SuiteScripts/WorkflowsAAA methodologies including Active Directory, LDAP, etc.Virtualization TechnologiesMobile Device Management TechnologiesData back-up solutionsRequired:2+ years of experience Managing an Information Technology and/or Systems Technology (IT/IS) groupBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experienceMust have previous experience as a NetSuite ERP administratorMust have demonstrated proficiency in various operating systems including Mac OS X, Windows 10, Unix (or Unix variants) and/or LinuxFlexible schedule is required to include: nights and weekends as needed to perform maintenance activitiesExcellent organizational, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of attention to detailAbove average problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAs an essential function of this position, the employee must be able to handle high levels of stress satisfactorily and be congenial with other employees and customers at all timeDesired:Previous experience working in the Telecommunications industry as an Information Technology and/or Information Systems professional
