"Where Innovation is Encouraged!"Technical Support Analyst - IT Infrastructure Systems Support - Production & ManufacturingVirtualisation, VMware 6 & 7, Microsoft Windows Servers, 2016/2019 (and rolling out 2022 in future), PC & Desktop Systems Support, Win 10 and Office 365, Cloud, (Azure desirable), Networking, HP, DELL, LAN/WAN Connectivity & Support, IT Security, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, SLA's and 3rd Party Management.£30,000pa to £40,000pa + Health & Pension Benefits - Telford, ShropshireThis established UK company who produce innovative global reaching products require a focused, experienced and professional Technical Support Analyst to assist and support their expanding IT Infrastructure Systems and enable this client to take their IT function into a new chapter.This role is a new vacancy needed to support global growth via this clients increase in turnover of £25M in 2019/2020, with a forecast of £45M turnover for 2021/2022As the IT Systems Support Analyst you will be responsible for supporting and improving IT systems across the UK, and potentially encompassing and expanding a global IT infrastructure.Reporting directly and working closely with the IT Systems Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the following technologies - Virtualisation, VMware 6 & 7, Microsoft Windows Servers, 2016/2019 (and rolling out 2022 in future), PC & Desktop Systems Support, Win 10 and Office 365, Cloud, (Azure desirable), Networking, HP, DELL, LAN/WAN Connectivity & Support, IT Security, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, SLA's and 3rd Party Management.You will require hands-on technical skills in IT Infrastructure Support and Management, as well as the commercial awareness and professional approach keeping abreast of latest technologies and to engage and manage 3rd party suppliers to get secure best products and support from vendors and stakeholders.Key Requirements:Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.Monitor and maintain computer systems, backups, and networks, guaranteeing the smooth running of all IT systems, etc.Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.Talk staff (on site and remote) or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.Replace parts as required.Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.Support the discovery, testing and roll-out of new applications.Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers.Test and evaluate new technology.Organise the purchase of hardware and software within the IT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.Schedule upgrades and preventive maintenance to hardware and software systems.Keep up to date with the latest technologies.Technology accreditations such as an MCP, or an MCSA/MCSE as will be a VCP etc are desirable but will not take precedence over solid and proven IT Systems Management experience.
