About The RoleIn this role you will be required to be a subject matter expert (SME) in the Unix (Linux & Solaris) area responsible for the delivery of new solutions, service improvements and ongoing platform maintenance and support.
Core Responsibilities: Providing authoritative and specialist Linux and Solaris expertise. Providing authoritative automation expertise Working with Architecture and other peer groups to produced detailed technical designs Identifying and executing service improvement opportunities Assist in the production and maintenance of technical documentation Be responsible for the delivery of business change on the Unix platform Be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the Unix platform Be responsible for problem determination, incident management and request fulfilment
