Cloud Engineer - Remote - Up to £75,000Job DescriptionMy client are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the Cloud Implementation team in the definition, creation, and delivery of Professional Services for our customers. Initially this will be working on migrations into Azure, the creation of Landing Zones, Azure Virtual Desktop, and customer enablement workshops. However, as we grow, we will bring more and more services in-house that the team will be working on.

Role & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the delivery of projects from pre-sales scoping to project planning and implementationDelivery of customer enablement workshops (this can be anything from an Azure Quick Start to a Level 3 workshop on a certain area)Engage with the Service Delivery team to collaborate on future services that we can deliver to customersDesigning and documenting customer solutionsResponsible for the delivery of projects from pre-sales scoping to project planning and implementationDelivery of customer enablement workshops (this can be anything from an Azure Quick Start to a Level 3 workshop on a certain area)Engage with the Service Delivery team to collaborate on future services that we can deliver to customersDesigning and documenting customer solutions

Skills & QualificationsExperience Delivering workshops and/or training to colleagues or customersExcellent knowledge of Azure service offerings and productsPractical knowledge of Windows Server and SQL ServerGood knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, OSI, and VPNsExperience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins etcExperience of Project Management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps Boards etcGood experience with ARM, Terraform, or Bicep for writing IaCGood working knowledge of Azure Migration tools such as Azure Migrate Assessment, Data Migration Assessment (DMA), SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA), Azure Migrate Server Migration, Database Migration Service, Storage Migration ServiceExperience with migrating and scaling Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogixDesirable Production experience with M365 (particularly around security with MS-500)DevOps Expert certification statusScripting such as PowerShell or PythonBenefitsFree gym at Head Office.
