Your roleDesign, develop and implement firmware and hardware components and integrate these components into robust embedded systems for medical devices, with a focus on firmware designDevelop, coach and support hardware & software engineers as well as actively participate in design reviews as a subject matter expertActively participate in multiple & international project teams to drive and solve firmware & hardware related hurdles and challengesHands-on rapid prototyping of embedded systems, including the design of customized firmware and hardware, as well as soldering skills for quick & dirty prototypes to evaluate proof-of-conceptApply state-of-the-art hardware / software management methods to ensure efficient collaboration and hardware / firmware quality Must havesUniversity degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, microtechnology, embedded systems engineering or systems control engineeringKnowledge in C-programming based real-time applications for embedded systemsExperience with embedded Linux programmingWork experience with micro processorsSkills in firmware design for embedded systems, including development, coding, code-reviewing, system-integration, debugging, validation / testing and documentationExperience in industryFluent in English Nice to havesProfessional expertise in the field of medical software and firmwareKnowledge in German Further informationLocation: Baar ZGRemote: PossibleDuration: 6 months with possibility of an extension or fixed position Interested?
