Senior Developer - £75,000 - Manchester - Partly RemoteWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Developer or a Lead Developer, with strong experience in leading projects and mentoring small - medium sized teams. You'll be joining an organisation that prides itself in inclusiveness, creativity and collaboration. The successful candidate will have an Agile mindset and be able to comfortably advocate clients and teams the benefits of XP practices. We are also looking for someone that has a passion for technology, as well as someone who is enthusiastic and open minded!

Role & ResponsibilitiesContributing to technical discussions Efficiently communicating with technical and non-technical members of the team (internally and externally) Elaborating on technical tasks and up keeping user stories Reviewing your team's work - both constructively and positively Mentoring junior members of the team and acting as an Ambassador for the organisation, promoting their approach and software development

Skills & QualificationsStrong experience as a Senior Developer and/ or Lead Developer in a commercial environment Strong understanding of Microsoft based technologies or JVM languages Strong experience using Modern Web Frameworks Strong ability to demonstrate TDD as well as Pair Programming Good experience with Version Control tools Strong understanding of Microservices Architectures Experience leading a team is desirable, however willingness to do so is essential BenefitsSalary of up to £75,000 25 days holidays + bank holidays Generous pension contribution Work from home office equipment provided (including Macbooks and Kindles)Discounts on family excursions, as well as enhanced maternity and paternity pay Industry leading training, with a clear path for progression Free parking, cycle to scheme and much more!
