The N2BI department encompasses a variety of teams responsible for the delivery of solutions and services into Sky's mobile and fixed line networks and we need an organised, confident Release Manager with excellent communications skills to join us. You will collaboratively work with several Sky delivery teams, other Sky departments, and a variety of 3rd party suppliers, to safely and efficiently coordinate software delivery into production and non-production environments.

What you'll do:

* Define, agree and implement a Release Management Process in line with the business imperatives for both 3rd party-developed software and in-house developments * Build and maintain a programme level and BAU "Release Schedule" that includes all major releases, minor releases, and product life cycle changes * Manage and coordinate the completion and distribution of all release documentation to the stakeholders. This includes archiving for compliance and audit-ability * Attend the Change Advisory Board (CAB) as the departmental representative ensuring that all releases follow the defined Change Management process. This includes crafting and managing changes/tickets in our Spark ticketing tool (ServiceNow) * Manage all the stages of a release from inception to deployment and any post deployment activities including retrospectives and lessons learned * Plan and coordinate activities of all the teams and resources involved in each stage of the release process for example the production/collation of relevant deployment documentation (including e.g. resource rota, implementation procedures, deployment schedule)

What you'll bring:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in Release Management including extensive knowledge of change, configuration and deployment processes * The ability to manage internal teams and external vendors and ensure their adherence to the Sky Release Management Process * Proven track record in management of complex implementations, including release planning and build procedures * Proven skills in managing complex and conflicting demands on and relationships with multiple sets of services and systems * Excellent verbal communication skills and collaborative stakeholder management experience * Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
