Opportunity for an IT Project Lead to join a growing company within the defence sector, delivering software solutions and IT projects, utilising some of the industries cutting edge Geospatial technology.

This position would suit a Project Lead who is seeking to progress into Project Management, working on some of the industry's leading projects, developing their skills and abilities in the effect add value to team based projects.

Established for over 19 years, our client is an industry leading business within the Defence and Security space that excels in geospatial systems, information management and exploitation and capability management support. Our client creates software that sits within world technology products used across the globe., providing a quality service to their clients in delivering technical advice and solutions to system-based problem-solving expertise.

As a Project Lead you will be required to use your skills and experiences to effectively deliver multiple projects while effectively project, risk and people managing for the successful delivery of a project. As a Project Lead, you will have to coordinate, schedule meetings and manage various stakeholders including 3rd party sub-contractors and suppliers.

The role:

* Project Lead experience

* Experience in either IT Project Delivery, GIS or Defence & Security

* Stakeholder Management in the delivery of projects

* Security Checks - Either have been SC or is willing to be SC (DV is Beneficial but not essential)

* Hybrid remote Options

The Person:

* Project lead experience

* Project Management Qualification: Prince2, PMP, AMP, PMQ

* British Citizen with willingness to achieve security clearance

* Interested in working in Defence, Security and Geospatial based projects

* Keen to progress
