THE OPPORTUNITY

Jaguar Land Rover is leading the way with initiatives to improve the customer experience through the use of vehicle data to manage, update and improve the car. We are looking for a security analyst, with experience of threat and risk analysis, to join the team and play a leading role in continuing to manage and develop our connected diagnostics in a secure way. This exiting role will support one of our agile teams focussed on rapidly deploying new services to the customer and be a part of a wider vehicle cyber security group ensuring the resilience and compliance of all our customer products

WHAT YOULL DO

You will be responsible for the timely analysis of information systems to identify risks and the identification, review and specification of security technologies needed to protect JLR and customers for specific vehicle / connected systems. You will be working with a range of stakeholders to understand and model information flows and the properties of these flows and youll collaborate with your local and wider teams to deliver JLRs overall objectives in an agile way. Youll be accountable for delivering a cyber security assurance case meeting emerging regulations for the connected products in your areas of responsibilities. You will also engage with cyber security and functional safety experts across the business to improve the overall cyber security posture of the company and drive towards the overall cyber security strategy.

WHAT YOULL NEED

Youll be required to have an academic qualification e.g MSc in cyber security or equivalent experience. Youll have a demonstrable knowledge of software engineering methods and processes and an understanding of at least one of the following: embedded software, networking and cloud computing, and the deployment of security in these environments. Ideally youll have experience in a role where you are utilising your skills to address cyber security related challenges. Youll have the ability to engineer in a way that is demonstrably compliant with standards and technical specifications

The below would be desirable:
* Experience working and delivering in an agile team
* Experience of model based engineering
* Project management skills
