Web Analyst - Product - Adobe Analytics, Tealium - LondonThe duration of the role is 3 months.The location of the role is Paddington, London (hybrid remote working). Expectation of 2 days per week on site.The pay rate on offer is £450 - £600 per day (negotiable).The client is an iconic, multinational high-street retailer.SummaryReporting to the Head of Growth & Strategy, you will lead analytical support for the International Online product team, working closely with the product managers to identify opportunities for further growth. You will be part of a team of analytics experts, each supporting a different part of the wider online team (e.g., product, marketing, trade).You will be the key point of contact for the product team when it comes to understanding funnel performance on the website, a/b testing and wider customer insights. You will be responsible for developing recommendations based on your insights, creating the right testing frameworks, and supporting the product team in driving positive change.As an expert in web analytics, you will also play a key role across many cross-functional project teams, helping the entire international online business understand trends in our product KPIs.Key accountabilities Monitoring of core digital product metrics (e.g., conversion), and Use web analytics data to generate performance reporting and actionable insightUse a range of quantitative and qualitative data sources to identify opportunities to improve site performance (e.g., web analytics, customer feedback, onsite surveys)Provide analytical support for A/B testing program ensuring robust hypotheses, analysis of test performance and benefit modellingEvangelising the world of product data and empower people to self-serve (but supporting where needed); subject-matter-expert for web/digital analytics across the International businessDevelopment, maintenance and governance of Adobe Analytics implementation (key reports, segments, metrics etc.), and ensuring new features are appropriately tracked (new tagging).Point of contact for International business for Tealium tag managementDevelopment, maintenance and governance of digital data layer and Tealium setup (e.g., proactively identifying gaps in web analytics tracking and briefing development team to implement required updates to data layer)Create and maintain specification document for the International Ecommerce data layer and web analytics implementationEnsure high standard of data quality and requisite compliance through regular auditing and governance of our digital analytics implementationKey experience and skillsA/B testing experience, and experience working with related tools (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Target), and Understanding of Bayesian vs. Frequentist testing methodologiesExperience working with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Hotjar, SurveyMonkey)Experience using web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) to generate key performance reporting and actionable insightExperience working with enterprise tag management systems (e.g., Tealium), and familiarity with digital analytics auditing software (e.g., ObservePoint)Understanding of data layers and analytics developmentHighly numerate, a master of Excel and proficient in data visualisationStrong oral, written and formal presentation skills, ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple wayAbility to prioritise multiple requests against commercial impacts, and firm expectation management skillsIndependent self-starter with demonstrable history of getting things done, confident to plan and prioritise, but able to request support where necessaryGenuine team-playing skills and commitment to a great working environment
