The Role As an IT Cluster Technician, you will ensure the smooth running of ICT systems to support teaching and learning. You will co-ordinate the maintenance of computer hardware, software, peripherals, as well as resolving any IT based problems. To facilitate this, you will manage service requests, ensuring excellent customer service and fixing or escalating any issues. Through offering advice and guidance, you will provide desk-side and classroom based technical support and will improve students and staff's understanding and experience of ICT. About You To be considered as an IT Cluster Technician, you will need: - Experience in an IT technical role
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive approach to learning
- The ability to work both in a team and individually
- Proficiency in working with children and challenging behaviours
- A full, valid driving licence A MCDST qualification would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of IT service within an educational environment. Please note, this role requires occasional evening work and regular travel to multiple sites.
