Data Engineer - Contract - OUTSIDE of IR35

REMOTE (1 office trip possibly per month) 

A consultancy partner is looking for several Data Engineers across a variety of their leading engagements. With a catalogue of projects across Central Government, Intelligence/Security and Emergency Services - if you like to see your work have an impact, this is the place for you. Creating solutions that assist with national information and communications strategies as well as security policies you will have to work with extremely unique data sets within a company that set data standards and data principals for programmes that have a real impact on everyday life. Evolving at the same pace at the challenges in front of them, leads to a variety of research focused & strategic ventures which have had impact on large scale space, defence and innovation focused opportunities.

Experience

ETL expertise and Python, Django/Flask, SQL

Valid SC Clearance

Ability to work closely with Data Science and Analyst colleagues

Exposure to R, and Postgres, Pandas, Airflow, AWS, ECS

Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash

Knowledge of Spark or Flink would be a plus

Nice to have:

Demonstrable background in consultancies, strong stakeholder management skills and communication

Exposure to wider Data tools such as Power BI and Qlik Sense;
