I'm working with a long-term client of IC Resources that is currently looking for an experienced Embedded Architect to join their project for a minimum of 6 months with possible extensions. The client are offering a full remote working model and the role has been determined as Outside of IR35. As the right engineer you will have extensive previous experience working on Embedded development on either Linux or Real-time platforms, having progressed in to Embedded Architecture throughout your career. You will have a good understanding of Architectural design of Embedded Systems, preferably with a focus on WiFi or Networking on Broadcomm or ARM devices, but with no particular emphasis on implementation. The ideal engineer would have knowledge of L2/L3 switching and routing, TCP/IP and other network protocols, IEEE standards and knowledge of VDSL for residential broadband products; however, these are not essential.
