The purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of one or more end to end project work streams within our new Core System programme, ensuring that work streams are delivered with appropriate project techniques and in line with best practice to deliver project outputs that enable benefits aligned to our strategic priorities and Core System Programme objectives.Client DetailsNHS Resolution is an arm's-length body of the Department of Health and Social Care. The Digital, Data and Technology Directorate, (DDaT) is an exciting high performing function with a challenging programme of work and a department structure aimed at progression, development and high operational and strategic outputs. As a result we are looking for talented DDaT professionals to join us on this journey.DescriptionTo build and maintain strong relationships with the business, senior stakeholders, and external stakeholders (Including existing and future third part suppliers) as well as our PMO team to ensure the delivery and governance of a project to agreed scope, time, cost and quality.Builds productive relationships across the organisation, identifying and developing engagement opportunities with key stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are understood and accepted by all stakeholders.Support in the discovery and scoping of projects and work streams working closely with subject matter experts, users and business analysts to shape and scope these projects appropriately.Plan and manage these projects and work streams through to production utilising agile methodology to iteratively refine and release value to the organisation over time.To effectively champion and support change processes and tools.Quality Management of the Delivery ApproachProfileEducated to Masters degree level or equivalent relevant experience. Experience of successfully managing projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. Project management qualification (e.g. Agile/Scrum, and APM) or equivalent relevant experience of managing projects or working in a multidisciplinary team. Good understanding of a range of project and business improvement methodologies and toolse.g. waterfall, agile, scrum, MSP, Lean Six Sigma, Kanban, etc. Ability to deliver major IT & business change projects within a complex, constantly changing environment while being confident and capable under pressure. Highly developed organisational skills, including the proven ability to take a strategic and constructive problem solving approach to issues, linking plans to organisational aims and objectives. Highly developed data analysis skills including the ability to source, analyse and present the right data for a variety of purposes including setting out an evidence base for change, modelling the likely impact of a planned initiative or evaluating the impact of an initiative. Strong IT skills with the ability to use O365, Jira, Mural or similar collaboration software. Experience of successfully leading and delivering technology focused projects that include implementing new technology solutions that impact multiple business areas.
