Junior Applications Engineer Solihull, Birmingham £27,500 + 25 Days Holiday + 15% Bonus + Every Other Friday Off An unbelievable opportunity has arisen for a junior applications engineer to work for a massively successful company, market leaders in many of the sectors they are involved in. The junior applications engineer would need to be discreet as they handle top-secret information, while taking advantage of training from seasoned veterans and various internal and external courses. The junior applications engineer would need to be a proactive learner, keeping up to date with sector news, and ensuring that they are up-to-speed as soon as possible, all while absorbing a lot of information. The junior application engineer would be responsible for:

* Dealing with orders and quotations

* Update and maintain latest issue control of customer drawings using Teamcenter & ERP

* Support application engineers

* Manage quality returns and processing

* Coordinate NPI and Quality Planning for new products and programmes

* Support all industry requirements: Defence, Oil and Gas, Healthcare & Medical, etc. The junior applications engineer would need:

* Good English communication, as there is a lot of customer interaction / sales-like work

* Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications (mechanical)

* Fresh Graduates (Any Engineering discipline) considered
