QA Test Engineer Uxbridge to £60k

QA Test Engineer (QA UI Testing API). Are you a talented QA Test Engineer with exceptional Manual testing skills and a passion for quality? As a QA Test Engineer you will help the company to deliver the highest quality cyber security products to its global customers. You'll be working alongside a friendly and experienced R&D team where your core focus will be to test the UI for the company's hugely successful video security product. You'll take ownership of brand new features; understanding how they will work, assessing their functionality, scalability and reliability and testing the overall quality before the products are released. The majority of this role will be manual testing however, there will be some automation testing aspects as well.

Based in Uxbridge you'll be working in modern offices, with onside parking available and only a 5 minute walk from the train station (direct tube line to central London). The company have global offices so you'll have the opportunity to visit and work from Oslo and the US if you want to.

Requirements:

An experienced Systems Test Engineer with exceptional manual testing capabilities and experience with a range of testing strategies / approaches such as functional and exploratory testing

Experience with operating systems, networking and API testing

Ideally you'll have a polyglot background and must be keen to work with a range of programming languages such as Golang, JavaScript and Python

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Likely to be degree educated in Computer Science or similar however, this is not essential

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
