Infrastructure Wintel Engineer Our Government client are currently recruiting for a 3rd line Winte / Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis. The successful contractor will be accountable for ongoing support of all business applications and smooth running of all essential systems.The role requires SC Clearance which the clinet are willing to sponsor. Basic check will suffice to start the role until the SC clearance has been obtained. EssentialQualified MCITPITIL qualified to Foundation LevelFamiliarity with and experience working to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standardExperience of working to tight SLA/OLA's and deadlinesExperience of change management processAbility to apply existing knowledge to resolve issues on unfamiliar systemsAble to gather and analyse informationAble to determine service impacts and risksAble to understand and articulate complex ideasLogical and rational approach to problemsAble to prepare and deliver management briefingsExcellent written and oral communications skills and able to communicate at all levels, technical and non-technicalDesirableWorking knowledge of Window Server, AD, GPOWorking knowledge of Networking and Firewalls (CISCO, Checkpoint)Working knowledge of Checkpoint EndpointWorking knowledge of Office 365Working knowledge of Microsoft AzureWorking knowledge of hardware (Servers, Blade Enclosures, Laptops and Storage Arrays)Experience of Windows 10Experience of working with monitoring tools
