Software Developer Remote / London to £68k

Software Developer (Java SpringBoot Microservices) *Remote*. Opportunity for a bright and driven Software Developer to work remotely within a global tech company that have created a highly complex cloud communications platform. You'll be able to enhance your existing skillset whilst gaining exposure to technologies you may have not previously worked with such as cloud technologies, Kubernetes and Docker.

As a Software Developer you'll be working on the company's communications platform on a variety of Greenfield cloud migration projects; moving to Java 8, Microservices, APIs and cloud integration. You'll also be involved in Brownfield projects, enhancing and maintaining legacy code and bringing it up to date. You'll utilise a range of tools and technologies including: Java 8, SpringBoot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud technologies.

This is a fully remote role allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK.

Requirements:

Very good knowledge of Java as well as having experience with Spring, SpringBoot and Microservices

Ideally you'll be familiar with cloud technologies, Docker and Kubernetes

Good understanding of CI/CD and Agile ways of working

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
