This is a temporary role for the right candidate, reporting directly to the Director of Customer Services, map the current and 'as-is' processes, provide solutions and suggestions for improvement and establish a governance structure for process sign off and essentially draft all processes in a way that benefits the customer, minimises double handling and promotes a 'first time fix'.Client DetailsHousing Association DescriptionThe business analyst role is responsible for analysis of data, processes and procedures.The post holder will determine with the Director of Customer Services the areas that require analysis based on customer needs and team input.From analysis of the data and exploration workshops with customers the post holder will suggest areas for improvement and work with customers and the wider team to develop solutions which could include Channel shift, Target Operating Models, new processes or systems.The post holder will also set up quality assurance and operational reporting for each business area.The post holder will work as independently through the areas determined but will work with each business area and part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.ProfileProven track record of business analysis experience across a range of disciplines including software, process, strategy and operational improvement. The post holder will be experienced in requirements gathering and business case production within a regulatory environment and would ideally have experience of working within an RSL.The post holder will be experienced in mapping as is processes, capturing pain points and working with customers and user to develop new solutions to challenges and problemsWorking as a part of the wider customer services team the post holder will be expected to use data to support or challenge the views expressed in the qualitative process to ensure that the overall findings are robust and rigorous. Using their understanding of the topic and negotiation skills to bring the wider team to agree a new process.The post holder will be required to 'walk' in both business and design worlds. Although the post holder does not need to have a deep technical knowledge, one of the most critical skills for success in this role is the ability to translate business functions and requirements into terms that are meaningful to all areas of the business, understanding their needs and priorities whilst ensuring the customer is first.Ability to find the simplest possible solution to complex business problems.Ability to translate complex requirements into functional specifications that are meaningful to both the users and those developing the revised product, programme or process.Ability to influence and establish working groups, and project documentation.Knowledge of the issues, culture and opportunities prevalent in Housing and RSLs.Knowledge and experience of running workshops and chairing meetings.Experience of using software tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and WordDemonstrable experience of business analysis in a business, policy or digital project environmentExperience of process mapping and business requirements gatheringJob OfferImmediate start and great package.
