The client is now looking for a Data analyst to analyse and visualise the company's extensive ERP data, with the objective of presenting clear data-driven insights which the wider team can use to make informed decisions. The role reports directly into FD with a dotted line into the MD.A super chance to intimately work with all business units of the company and become an important player within the organisation.DescriptionYour role will be to: To support data quality and data governance projects across the business. You will have a key role in profiling and cleansing our data to improve its quality. You will use tools to understand our data lineage and data cataloguing for business use. · Ensure data required for the ERP system is clean, appropriate and quality. · Be able to report on progress through data activities on a daily/weekly basis.Regularly create reports for business units based on a variety of sales and logistics issues.Become the team's data analysis resource and work with team members to develop, test and field new data-driven reports and products to meet customer needs.Work with the team to extract, prepare and validate data as required.ProfileSolid Excel reporting skills and experienceA solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storageProven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressureAble to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectivelyApproachable with a proactive personality and a willingness to be hands-onAn effective team worker who shows initiative and takes ownership of the roleJob OfferIn return, you will be given an excellent opportunity to have full ownership of the data and influence any future projects around data and visualisation.
