Job Title:Senior Process Equipment EngineerDuration: 6month contract to hireLocation: Easton, MAIndustry: Life Sciences The Successful Candidate Must:· Background in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or proficient industry experience · Have a demonstrated track record of building electromechanical process equipment from start to finish · Have a proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and other essential computer skills· Be eager to get involved in hands-on work (up to prototype assembly and operating in a small machine shop)· Possess hands-on engineering experience related to pneumatic, hydraulic, material fatigue, manufacturing, control systems, etc. Nice to Haves: · Electrical Engineering and industrial automation experience (PLCs, IIoT) would be considered very helpful· Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for food, chemical or pharmaceutical process equipment is a definite plus Primary Duties:· Mechanical Equipment Design· Prototype Building· Equipment Testing· Technical Documentation· Product Management· Customer Support Additional Duties:· General machine shop maintenance· Writing application notes, protocols, manuals, etc.· Presentation of research results to colleagues and at conferences and trade shows. Strong verbal and presentation skills are a definite plus.· Interaction with engineering team to provide feedback and suggest ideas to improve our products· Customer and sales team training and preparation of training materials, which requires a strong grasp of spoken and written English and the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and ideas.
