O365 Solution Architect - Leeds (c£50K)Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global technology company for an experienced Microsoft 365 solution architect. The role of the 0365 Solution architect will be to work closely with internal teams and assist them in managing and developing the Microsoft 365 platform (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Teams). This role will suit professionals looking to develop their skills within Microsoft O365 and who enjoy working in a busy environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
·Lead strategic technological planning to achieve business goals by prioritising technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future Microsoft 365 technologies
·Engage with senior stakeholders to identify, rationalise and roadmap new business capabilities and deployment
·Develop and communicate business/technology alignment plans
·Maintaining a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 core technologies
·Designing and updating Microsoft 365 solutions and technical roadmaps, as well as producing high-quality documentation
·Championing Microsoft 365-based solutions embracing new functionality
Deployment
·Assess and communicate risks associated with technology-related implementation
·Define requirements for new technology and communicate them to key stakeholders
·Prioritise, and work with the project manager to control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, design, configuration, and installation of Microsoft 365 information systems
Operational Management
·Responsible for developing the business use of implemented Microsoft 365 Technology e.g., the Microsoft 365 applications and the automation they can deliver, including SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
·Ongoing management and development of our appropriate use of Teams, SharePoint, Flow, Planner, Power BI, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 applications
·Remain up-to-date and knowledgeable regarding industry trends and emerging technologies
Essential Requirements:
·We are looking for candidates with a range of both technical and business focused skills and experience in an enterprise environment:
·delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in a fast-paced environment
·undertaking business impact assessments for major Microsoft 365 updates
·designing, provisioning, and delivering workable Power App solutions
·working with third party providers e.g., Microsoft technical support, Consultancies etc.
·implementing and developing business solutions with Microsoft 365, with at least 3 years' experience
