As IT Infrastructure Engineer (Infrastructure, Networks) you will deliver IT Infrastructure, Network, server and storage projects and provide BAU technical support. You'll be working with a small team implementing and managing network infrastructure projects to ensure the core network is stable and is developed according to the needs of the business.Client DetailsMichael Page Technology are delighted to be partnered with a not for profit organisation based in Manchester who are looking to grow their IT Infrastructure team to support key projects.DescriptionWhat you'll be doing:As IT Infrastructure Engineer (Infrastructure, Networks) you will deliver IT Infrastructure, Network, server and storage projects and provide BAU technical support. You'll be working with a small team implementing and managing network infrastructure projects to ensure the core network is stable and is developed according to the needs of the business.Responsibilities: Support and maintain core infrastructure.Complete daily check, project reporting and BAU Support.Successfully deliver Infrastructure projects.Support VM Ware hyper.Have hands on experience of Hyper Converged Infrastructure.Have hands on experience of switch and network configuration.Experience of working on Microsoft core stack "Exchange, Windows Server, SQL"Avaya VoIP IP Office Telephony.GDPR and Security awareness on Infrastructure.ProfileKey Skills & Experience:Hands of experience of the below:Microsoft Server 2008-2016Experience of working on Microsoft core stack "Exchange, Windows Server, SQL"Avaya VoIP IP Office Telephony.Virtualisation (VMware)Networking (Switches, Routers and Firewalls)Active Directory, DNS, DHCPGDPR and IT Security awareness on InfrastructureAdvantageous: Successfully deliver Infrastructure projects (Server, Storage, Network and Cloud)Cloud Infrastructure experience (Azure / AWS)An understanding of MS TeamsExposure to backup technologies (Veeam)PowerShellPhysical SAN hardware experience (Dell EMC and NetApp Storage)Experience of IP Telephony (Avaya VoIP IP Office Telephony)Office 365 / Exchange OnlineJob OfferSalary:£35,000 - £39,000 per annumBenefits:Competitive pension26 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service)Cycle to work schemeSeason ticket loans for public transport plus much more.
