This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join one of the largest Engineering and Technology consultancies globally on a 6-month contract. You'll work with cutting-edge technology in a highly varied and technical role.

This company is a multinational Engineering and Technology Consultancy operating in nearly 50 countries. They operate in multiple sectors including Financial Services, Energy & Chemicals, Public Sector and Telecommunications to name a few. They are partnered with some of the biggest names in Tech including AWS, Microsoft and GCP.

In this role you will be responsible for the design, documentation, code and testing of complex program components, scripts or package configuration in line with agreed specifications. You will work with Solutions Architects to design and implement seamless integration with internal and external systems, while ensuring all systems are robust, scalable and secure, with appropriate overall system design and integration points in order to deliver a high-quality user experience.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Java Developer with demonstratable experience in functional programming and Back End Software Development including experience developing and using APIs. You will be experienced with modern Java development and delivery into AWS and/or Azure and have used Spring Frameworks, including Spring Boot and Spring Batch. You will have experience of virtualisation and containerisation including Docker, Jenkins, Ansible and ELK.
