Software Developer London / WfH to £50k

Software Developer / Engineer (C++ TCP/IP UDP Computer Science) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a bright, ambitious Software Developer with C++ coding skills and good knowledge of networking / communication protocols?

You could gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems, continually learning and progressing your career at a global Investment Research and Management firm within the Real-time Data Technology Team that delivers data for millions of instruments traded in markets worldwide.

As a Software Developer you will design and develop C++ high volume, low latency, real-time market data feeds; you'll gain exposure to projects through the full development lifecycle including working with QA to provide business critical data to a global portfolio of blue chip clients. As a more junior member of the team you'll be supported to reach your full potential with training and mentoring from accomplished colleagues.

There's a hybrid work from home policy (1-2 days at home); when you are in the City based offices you can enjoy a friendly team environment and relaxed dress code.

Requirements:

You're degree educated, 2.1 or above - Computer Science or similar STEM subject

You have commercial C++ development skills including STL and Boost

You have a good understanding of communication protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, multicast)

You have strong analysis and problem solving capabilities

You're collaborative with good communications skills, keen to learn and progress your career
