Software Developer in Test London / WfH to £65k

Software Developer in Test / QA Automation (Java Kotlin Postman API Wireshark) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you believe in well tested quality code?

You could be progressing your career in a senior role at a financial software house that provides a range of web based trading and single-dealer platforms.

As a Software Developer in Test you will develop automated test cases and test frameworks to test new functionality including both functional and non-functional testing with a focus on backend systems using a range of open source tools and libraries such as Wireshark and Postman. As a senior member of the team you'll provide mentoring and guidance in the use of automated testing, drive best practice and seek continual improvement.

Requirements:              

You have strong QA testing experience, with both manual and automation experience

You're able to code / script with Java or Kotlin (or JavaScript) to create test frameworks from scratch

You have a good knowledge of automation test tools - particularly Postman, Wireshark JUnit

You have an understanding of multiple operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, Mac OX)

You have strong analysis and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

You're degree educated in Computer Science or Mathematics

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
